“Women: God’s Heralds of Good News for the Family, Community, Nation and World” was the theme of the ACLC Women In Ministry (ACLC WIM) program held on Saturday, May 5th, at the Washington Times. Over 120 clergy and guests joined in the uplifting praise and worship led by Rev. Lenny Wells, one of the “172 Clergy” of ACLC and pastor of Amazing Love Fellowship International started in Virginia. The Holy Spirit began to move the moment he spoke. His wife, Rev. Jane Wells, co-pastor of Amazing Love Fellowship International, began the program with greetings and welcome inspiration as the Master of Ceremonies for the Day.
This was the second of five programs being held around the country. The Chicago event was held in April, and upcoming events are scheduled for New York (May 19), Dallas (July 7) and Los Angeles (September.)
A powerful opening prayer was given by Dr. Diane Peters, director of Denominational Development of the African American Catholic Congregation, of Imani Temple. Scripture was read by Bishop Sennie Johnson, First Lady of New Prospect Family Praise and Worship Center: Genesis 2:21-25, “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, ‘This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’ Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” It was a perfect reading for the True Family Values seminar.
Next ACLC Women In Ministry’s Mission Statement was read by Dr. Tanya Edwards, pastor of Manhattan Family Church. Dr. Tanya is a powerful preacher who comes from an anointed line of Pentecostal bishops and pastors.
ACLC Co-President Archbishop Sulanch Lewis-Rose graciously stood to introduce the next speaker, Archbishop George Stallings, saying that he was the anointed man of God who truly lifts up the role of the women before God.
Archbishop Sulanch Lewis-Rose
Archbishop gave an introduction of True Family Values Seminar and why we have to follow Mark 2:22 and “put new wine into new wineskins.” He prepared the pastors to know that they would be receiving revelation from the Scriptures as “new wine” they experience a “renewing of their minds.” Archbishop Stallings really brought up the importance of women in God’s Providence, using the example of Mary Magdalene at the resurrection of Jesus. He praised Mary as the first evangelist with courage to proclaim that “Jesus is risen…” noting that it was women who were courageous throughout the Bible, risking their lives to speak the truth and to bring God’s Good News as Heralds.
He spoke longer than planned, he was so inspired by the spirit of God to bring God’s love for women. Truly it was an amazing moment for all the women who were there!
Dr. Glovinia Williams
The first presentation was “God’s Original Ideal” presented by Dr. Glovinia Williams, founder of Collegiate Training Institute, VA. She has been studying Biblical Principle with the Exposition of the Principle for some years, but recently she received strong revelation that the ACLC True Family Values gives the Gospel truth in a way that we can put into practice to better our lives, families and communities. Her presentation was so real that all the guests were deeply inspired. She got tears in her eyes, as many did in the audience, when she read Jesus words, “that ye must be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect,” Matthew 5:48.God would not give us an assignment that we can’t do. We are meant to be one with Jesus!
After the break, “What Went Wrong” was presented by Dr. Patra Kidwell, of God’s Ministry International in Maryland. With total conviction she explained the Genesis story of Adam and Eve, with Father Moon’s words illuminating the Scripture. Everyone joined in group discussion and again the reports were very meaningful.
Leaders of ACLC and Women In Ministry and the presenters gathered for a cake cutting in celebration of the seminar.
During the lunch WIM co-chairs Rev. Marilyn Kotulek and Min. Reiko Jenkins introduced WIM to the audience, and were followed by appointments of 10 Ambassadors for Peace. Archbishop Stallings proclaimed that “You shall now become Ambassadors and will be addressed as ‘Your Excellency’ because you are God’s ambassadors to bring God’s love and peace to all the world.”
At the end of the ceremony one of the appointees, Dr. Mankekolo, a prominent Methodist pastor and a professor at Morgan State University, gave a testimony of attending the November 11, 2017 Rally for Peaceful Unification of South Korea and North Korea. She truly testified to Mother Moon‘s amazing work as a woman of God, saying, “Brothers and sisters, when we went to Korea on November 11th for the peaceful reunification of Korea people thought we were crazy. The peninsula was on the brink of war. However, when Mother Moon gathered 80,000 at the World Cup Stadium, with 200 Religious leaders from America and 200 Religious Leaders of the world in prayer, and then she spoke, the Holy Spirit moved. Now we see that all the parties are talking about ending the conflict. Only Heaven could move like that. Thank you, Mother Moon, for your wisdom, love and courage!”
Next ACLC Co-Chairmen Dr. Michael Jenkins and Archbishop Stallings held the Blessing of Marriage ceremony. Two couples came to the front, 21 couples and all present received the holy wine. Archbishop Stallings gave a serious prayer of commitment for marriage.
